Toilet Clogs

Toilet clogs are easily knocked out with a toilet auger (50 dollars for a good one at a home improvement store)

Make sure your problem is with only one toilet and also make sure you wear some good gloves.

If you have more than one toilet that is clogged the issue is in the main sewer line.

Simply take the auger and seat the angled head into the base of the toilet and start turning and pushing the cable into the hole inside the bowl use good firm pressure and once you are all the way in crank it really fast and pull in one motion. You may have to do this several times but do not give up you will get it if you keep at it.

If this does not work you may have an object such as a toy or another household item that has found its way in there if that is the case you may have to remove the toilet and get at it from underneath the toilet. If you remove the toilet make sure you replace the wax ring and the flange bolts it is always good practice to replace the flange bolts when you replace a wax ring.

if you cannot remove the clog after all of this your toilet may be calcified and need to be replaced all together.
